Tail
Docking:
The Hungarian Vizsla has
traditionally had a one third tail
dock.
The practice of tail docking was banned in Australia from 2004.
Since this national ban, The Hungarian Vizsla Club of NSW has been
informed of a number of injuries occurring to Vizslas with full length
tails and has commenced keeping statistics for submission to relevant
bodies.
Should you have, or know of a Vizsla who has suffered a tail injury, we
urge you assist us by completing and submitting the
Tail Injury Report
Form in PDF Format.
