HUNGARIAN VIZSLA / HUNGARIAN WIREHAIRED VIZSLA
BREED SURVEY
WILL YOU HELP
?
About the survey
The HVCNSW Inc is conducting a health survey to
determine and document what problems are present in our Hungarian
Vizslas and Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas.
The survey is open to any owner of a Hungarian Vizsla or
Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla, whether they are a member of Club or not.
This is an anonymous survey; no owners or dogs will be
identified.
We need surveys completed for healthy dogs as well as
those affected with health problems so we may gain a balanced view of
the health status of our dogs – what problems are common, what are not.
We also want to learn the average age of onset of any problems.
We understand that to complete the survey will take some
time on the part of each Vizsla owner. We do hope that you can spare
this time. It is anticipated that this survey can help in monitoring
disease problems in Hungarian Vizslas and Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas,
and in future, allow us to track if problems are emerging, increasing or
decreasing in the population. Basically, if you do not report a problem,
we can’t know there is a problem.
The survey will close on 1 September 2009. Summary
data for Hungarian Vizslas and for Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas will be
presented in our newsletter, Vizsla Views and on
our website.

Instructions:
Submit a separate survey for each dog that you have
owned, whether it is still living or not.
Remember: Every problem is important –
not just ‘big things’ like cancer. And every dog is important.
Completing surveys for healthy dogs allows us to get a
more accurate assessment of affected and non affected Vizslas.
Thank you for helping us.
